Lizzie Borden has fascinated authors, journalists and novelists ever since 1892 when the blood first dried on the hatchet and Lizzie was arrested, becoming one of the most notorious women of all time. Her trial was a world-wide sensation in the press and many of the most intriguing non-fiction accounts written about the affair were published in the first decade after her acquittal. Needless to say, these, and the numerous accounts that have been published throughout the previous century, are long out-of-print; however, The Lizzie Borden Collection is pleased to make these hard-to-find classics and collectibles more accessible.
